Expensive Stuffed Animals
Once upon a time, in a land far, far away, teddy bears were just simple toys that brought comfort to children. But then, something strange happened. People started creating teddy bears that cost more than a house, and we're not kidding.
Now, we know what you're thinking: "What kind of person would spend that much money on a stuffed animal?" And honestly, we're not sure either. But one thing's for sure: these teddy bears are some of the most expensive in the world, and we're about to show them to you.
First up, we have a luxurious little bear that goes by the name of Steiff Louis Vuitton Teddy Bear. This little guy will set you back a cool $2.1 million. Yep, you read that right. This bear was created by German toy company Steiff and features a Lv-monogrammed coat made from Louis Vuitton's signature leather. The bear also has sapphire eyes and a golden mouth, because why not?

But if that's a little too rich for your blood, don't worry. There are plenty of other teddy bears out there that are only slightly less expensive. Take the Harrods 2014 Christmas Bear, for example. This little guy will only set you back $90,000. But hey, at least he's dressed in a fancy little red velvet coat for the holidays.
Next up, we have the adorable little Pudsey Bear. Now, you might be thinking "Pudsey who?" but trust us, this bear is a big deal. Pudsey was created by BBC Children in Need, and each year a special version of the bear is auctioned off to raise money for charity. In 2012, one lucky bidder shelled out $75,000 for the honor of owning a one-of-a-kind Pudsey Bear.
If you're more of a traditionalist when it comes to teddy bears, never fear. There are plenty of classic bears out there that have been given a luxurious twist. The Merrythought Gold Teddy Bear, for example, features a 9-carat gold nose and will set you back $10,000. Or, if you prefer your bears to be a little blinged out, there's the Moschino Teddy Bear with Swarovski Crystals, which can be yours for a mere $1,000.
If you're the kind of person who likes their teddy bears to be a little spooky, there's the Urs Fischer Teddy Bear Lamp. This little guy is actually a lamp, and will cost you $6,200. But don't worry, he's not too scary - he's actually kind of cute.
And if you're willing to drop some serious cash, there's the Helly Nahmad Gallery Teddy Bear. This bear was created by artist Urs Fischer and is made entirely out of bronze. Oh, and it also happens to be life-sized. Yeah, it's pretty crazy. If you want to own this bear, be prepared to cough up a whopping $6.8 million.
But our personal favorite has to be the Diamond Eyes Teddy Bear. This bear was created by Steiff and features, you guessed it, diamond eyes. It will set you back $160,000, but honestly, can you really put a price on having a teddy bear with diamonds for eyes? We think not.
So, there you have it - some of the most expensive teddy bears in the world. Are they worth the price tag? We'll let you be the judge of that. But one thing's for sure: these bears are definitely something special.
We hope you've enjoyed this little trip down teddy bear lane. Who knows, maybe one day you'll decide to splurge on a luxurious little bear of your own. Hey, we won't judge.
