Otter Stuffed Animal
So I was browsing the interwebs, as one does, and I stumbled upon this gem - a Cuddlekins Sea Otter Plush Stuffed Animal by Wild Republic. Now, normally I'm not one for stuffed animals, but there's something about this little guy that just speaks to me, you know?
I mean, just look at that face! He's got this little puckered mouth and beady little eyes that just scream "give me a cuddle!" And that fur - it's like a little cloud of fluffiness!
Now, I know what you might be thinking - "But Funny Person, aren't you a grown adult? Isn't it a little strange to be getting all excited over a stuffed animal?" And to that, I say - yes, probably. But you know what? Life is short, and if something brings you joy, you should just go for it.
And it's not like I'm the only one who's fallen in love with this little sea otter - the reviews on Walmart.com are positively glowing. One person even said that their Cuddlekins Sea Otter brought them "unconditional love and support through a break up". If that's not worth $16.99, I don't know what is.
But let's talk more about this sea otter, shall we? According to the product description, he's made by Wild Republic, which is apparently a company that specializes in creating "realistic stuffed animals". I didn't even know that was a thing, but now that I do, there's a whole world of plushies that I can explore.
Apparently, the Cuddlekins Sea Otter is 12 inches long, which is a pretty decent size for a stuffed animal. Not so big that he takes up the whole bed, but not so small that you can't get a good snuggle in. And the fur is apparently super soft and cuddly, which is really all I'm looking for in a stuffed animal, if we're being honest.
I'm also really excited about the fact that this sea otter is part of the Cuddlekins line. I don't know what that means exactly, but it sounds like it's a group of stuffed animals that are extra cuddly or something. And honestly, in 2021, who doesn't need a little extra cuddliness in their lives?
But the real question is - what can you do with a Cuddlekins Sea Otter? I mean, obviously you can cuddle with it, but what else? Well, according to the product description, this little guy is "perfect for play and educational purposes". I'm not exactly sure what that means, but maybe you could use him to reenact scenes from Finding Dory or something.
Or, if you're feeling really adventurous, you could take him on a little sea otter adventure yourself. Strap him into the passenger seat of your car and take him on a road trip! Bring him to the beach and pretend he's frolicking in the waves! The possibilities are endless, really.
Now, I know some of you might still be skeptical about the idea of buying a stuffed animal as an adult. And that's okay - everyone has their own preferences when it comes to what brings them joy. Maybe you prefer collecting Funko Pops or watching cat videos on YouTube or something - I don't judge.
But for me, there's something about this little sea otter that just brings a smile to my face. Maybe it's because he's so cute and cuddly. Maybe it's because I've been spending too much time alone in my apartment during quarantine. Who knows?
But what I do know is that I'm definitely going to be adding a Cuddlekins Sea Otter to my collection. And honestly, I can't wait to introduce him to my other stuffed animals - I think they're going to get along swimmingly (pun intended).
